it could be possible that some seniors just past thier shoes onto the underclassman and the.. poor girl that got nickys shoes could be in trouble...nicky got britt wilkens shoes....etc etc. each season coach has a few players that the shoe just don't seem to fit him.when you start seeing his guards getting yanked for the same thing...we'll be buying the whole team new shoes.haha k eep this funny Cinderella!!!
Ohhhh, I don't know.... maybe because he wants her to be the best possible basketball player she can be? BF is a no nonsense kind of guy, that's for sure. But he makes these girls the best possible players they can be. He coddles nobody.
If parents want their young daughters to be coddled and spoiled to death, then don't send them to ISU. If you want them to become the best, then send them to ISU. BF has high expectations for everyone in his program.
HE REALLY HASN'T WATCHED ISU WOMEN'S BASKETBALL AT ALL

I think Bill rides the girls hard with the language, but I don't believe he degrades them.
He quite often goes over the line. I think his wife is his biggest critic in this respect. I have heard things that made every one of the 20-25 women in the section behind the bench gasp audibly in horror at the intensely personal things they have heard. If you watch closely, during a full time out all of the players not in the game are required to stand behind the bench with arms locked - so that fans cannot see or hear BF. Sometimes he just blows his cork before they get into the huddle.
The earlier posters are correct in that it has led to numerous transfers through the years.
I will say that Amanda has seemed overwhelmed by the pace and intensity of D1 ball at times so far. It will only go up by a factor of about 3 when we get to January.
