    Nice read from the Rag on Alison Lacey. This is one tough girl and I am glad she is on our team. Most of us have NO idea what it takes to be a D1 athelete, let alone being 9000 miles away from home.

    Having lived abroad for a time (nowhere near five years!), I can empathize with Alison. There are lots of adjustments to make, some large and some small but constant, when you live in a different country, even when you speak the same language. And as Aus knows, there various forms of spoken English. It takes a strong character and no small amount of dedication to do what Aus had done. She misses her home and next year we will miss her!
