Oklahoma down 34 to 18 to Kansas St. at the half. Plenty of time left, but if Oklahoma loses this it would put ISU back into 2nd with the easiest schedule left of all the contenders.
Game looks a lot like ours did there, Sweat is putting on a clinic. Our schedule does look better than some.
We have @KU @ OSU
and KSU and Colo at home
OU's looks brutal
@ Texas @ A&M
Nebby and OSU at home
Texas is hard too:
@ OSU @ Baylor
OU and MU at home
A&M is probably the most favorable though with the hard teams at home
@ Colo @ KU(though KU's last home game)
OU & Baylor at home
ISU is in a good spot to finish 2 or 3 in the league. I could see A&M finishing strong, and with the tiebreaker on OU & Texas(one of them has to lose at least one more), I can't see us finishing lower than 4.
K State went on a ISU-MBB-ish drought there for a while and now looks like they are going to lose 53-51 with just under 4 minutes left. It would've been very nice if OU lost but doesn't look like it was ment to be...
Two close games for top #25 teams # 9 Ohio State up 1 with 35.8
"I honestly believe we're doing it in a great, great way, and I hope our fans who are Iowa State fans go to work proudly, not just because of how we win and lose games or how many games we do win, but how we do it." - Bill Fennelly
We sit in 3rd with OU's win over KSU. It looks like KSU had a complete meltdown in the 2nd half.
Yeah, they did. It was one of the bigger meltdowns I've seen, truly epic.
I think ISU is sitting very pretty considering I don't really think it will matter too much where they end up as long as they get a bye in the first round so 4th or better. I would find it hard to find a scenario where they end up worse than 4th, though it would be a lot nicer to be 2nd or 3rd so we don't face Nebbie until the final game if it comes to it!
