NU beats OU

its final. NU won it on an 18-1 run the last 5 minutes to win the game.

A win at KU would put us back in a tie(holding the tiebreaker) with OU.

interesting from the game, Debbie Antonelle said that Bill Fennelly and Coale deserve to be in the discussion for Big 12 Coach of the Year along with Yori for their efforts with young teams.

Yes I watched the game too and have never rooted for Nebraska in my life until tonight. We've got the inside track to a #2 finish in the conference again, and that feels really good. I heard Antonelli say that about BF and it's totally true, although of course Yori will win coach of the year.

The good news is that Texas and OU play each other this week, so at least one of them will drop out of the tie for second with ISU (assuming we win of course).

The tiebreaker is for seeds in the conference tourney, and yes we have a strong leg up on the 2 seed. But if we are tied, we wind up tied for 2nd (or whatever) in the conference regular season period. Obviously we need to beat KU tomorrow night..

Okie State Beat Texas tonight so I belive that already puts them 1 game behind 2nd, let them beat OU, we take care of business and the ladies will roll into KC with a outright 2 seed.
