    Clarification on tomorrow's WBB game vs. KSU

    Just and FYI, I guess that there has been some inaccurate reporting on the start time of tomorrow's game. Iowa State will host Kansas State in Hilton at 7 p.m. tomorrow. Just letting everybody know in case you have read something different somewhere else.

    Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

    ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

    Yeah, our favorite DM paper said it was at 2. On last night's channel 8 news (at 6 I think) Andy Garmin got the time right, and said it was senior night.

    It's not "senior night" for the team...but ALL Iowa State seniors get in for free (Cy's Pass not required) and get a free t-shirt tonight. All seniors should have received an e-mail about it. The e-mail header says it's vs Kansas, but the body of the e-mail has it right, it's against KSU.

    Show up at the lower west doors and someone from the Senior Class Council will be there to get you your ticket and t-shirt, according to the e-mail. j

    Would be great to have a good crowd of students tonight!

    The media takes great strides to get it right. Live a day in our shoes and see how hard our line of work is. Didn't see the show, but maybe they got it right?
