In all honesty, can anyone else tell just from the interviews, why the women have more success than the men?
Everytime you see the men's interviews, it's like they are 15 years old and giving the simplest answers. The women seem to know what they are talking about, what Coach Fennelly wants from them, know what they did wrong/need to improve on or what the game plan is, and are extremely mature.
As a whole, the women's team is one of the smartest ones I've seen and the men's team played like the least savvy I have ever seen at Iowa State.

FWIW, they are given coaching/instruction on how to speak to the media.
This IS an intelligent group of student athletes.

You just basically exampled the stereotype of men in general. Not to take anything away from the ladies on the team though, they are very articulate.

Not everyone can be Nate Frere and ad entertainment value. I always thought our guys have done fine. For crying out loud they are 20 year olds with cameras in their face. Besides that a lot of them have come from backgrounds and such completely different than what a lot of the women have.
