Never like losing but without Lacey this is not a terrible loss. The one thing that somewhat worries me is we will now have only played 1 game in like 2 weeks by the time we play next (March 21). Hope we don't get "rusty".
Granted, the 1st round opponent in the NCAA tourney probably won't be that good so we should be able to fight through it if we are a bit out of sync.
good points.. but today's game.. has put me over the edge when it comes to big 12 refs.. the have to be the worst in the nation at any level..
I really think people should find an email to the big 12 and maybe JP and complain and tell JP to send vids to the big 12
I'm worried about rust as well and a Hampton like result
Make sure you have tickets then so you can cheer them through their "rusty" play.
If you think they won't be ready to play you really don't know the coaches and the players very well. There is no way this team comes out "rusty" after the bad start they had tonight when they are playing at home.

Now, think how long it has been since Lacey has played a game. Practices can't achieve game atmosphere, let alone a tournament game atmosphere. I don't know what Lacey's health status is, but if there was a chance she could have seen some game minutes today or tomorrow, then I think last night's loss is a bigger deal than it is being made out to be. Getting her on the court a little bit this weekend would have been very beneficial.Quote:

IF we could have pulled it out yesterday, she might have seen a few minutes today.
Thanks- I heard she had a pretty serious illness but wasn't sure what her status was going forward. Glad to hear she will have the opportunity to be on the floor!
