I was in Hartford, CT this weekend proudly wearing my Iowa State windshirt.

Initially, I justgot pity, then laughs when I said that our women are more likely than the UConn men of beating the UConn women. Most people in CT seem bored with their women's team and almost wish that they weren't so good so that it would be more interesting. It will get interesting when we take them this afternoon.

The way this team is built, they have a puncher's chance in any game. Just have to get a few lucky breaks.

It is not so much the streak itself but the fact that no one is even coming close. There is no suspense. If you are a UConn fan what do you watch for, to see if Maya gets 20? And by 20 I mean either 20 minutes of play or 20 points.

I think the odds are reasonably good that the girls cover the +25.5. I feel that if we slow the game down and take care of the ball (20 TO's or less), we will cover.
