The job desription sounds a lot of what I thought Josh Carper did. Has he been fired or did he leave?

he's still tweeting away as of this morning, and just bought a house in Ames, so my guess is he is still on staff.

Can we afford another position? I thought that the program was bleeding millions of dollars? With ISU cutting teachers with the bad economy... but we are adding a athletic position. It sounds strange to me.

The money to pay for this position doesn't come from the general fund of the university, it comes from the athletics department. The athletics department money is separate from the general fund.

Hmmm, could be possible. I was talking with him this week and didn't put 2 and 2 together because I didn't know ISU had any openings.
