I went out for wrestling in 6th grade. Only went out b/c all of my cousins were successful wrestlers. I never scored a point in practice and if i recall correctly I was pinned every time.....usually very quickly too. Quit after a couple weeks and went out for basketball. That was a good move for me.
My fastest pin was 10 seconds, tripped him and he fell on his back. I jumped on him, smashed my nuts on his knee, pinned him and then rolled over holding my nuts.
Our team always had a pool for whoever got the fasted pin and the fish award for who ever got pinned the fastest.
Chris Taylor from ISU, can not remember the school but the kid was a Canadian champion. Whistle blew the guy charged Chris he, fell backward, bear hugged the guy and rolled him over on his back for the pin.
My buddy Jason is in the record books with like a 9 or 10 second pin in the state tourney in '93. He had just lost to the same guy for the 4 year in a row came out for wrestle backs and looked really angry. Grabbed the kid and threw him on his back.
