Is there anyone out there with the status of Sorensen's elbow? That kid worked hard this year and I'm sure was crushed he couldn't wrestle. I'm hoping for the best for him!

I don't think Coazrt would have any better luck than Weatherman though. The other possibility is that Jackson gets a JUCO to fill the 174 spot, and then Spangler comes down a weight class. This is where it would have been nice to keep a guy like Boaz Beard from transferring.
KJ has already stated that Moreno was going to wrestle 157 next year...I don't know if that means Weatherman, Cozart and Mayfield will battle it out for 149, I also don't know what the injury for Sorenson means for 165. My guess is that if Sorenson is out next year we'll see Weatherman/Cozart/Mayfield at 149/157, Moreno at 165 and Spangler at 174, this makes the most sense team wise as that would be the strongest. I can't wait till next year to see Moreno, Goettl, Finch, Gadsen and Spangler in there for a whole year. I think as a dual team we should be pretty solid other than 133, lets hope there are no more injuries and Sorenson gets back healthy for next year.
Re: Final Intermat rankings
Unless I missed someone, it appears that on Intermat Iowa had 9 ranked, and the other two have 8. Cornell had five in the top 6, PSU and Iowa both had four. I took the rankings and applied 20 pts for #1, 19 for #2, etc. to look at the three. Total points went
Iowa-126
Cornell - 121
PSU - 110
I get this feeling that Iowa will be right there when its over, racking up their points in the wrestle-backs.

Anybody counting Iowa out of this thing - and I've seen some on this site - are clueless

I was thinking Goettl would stay at 133. He whipped Ben Cash lst year in the exhibition dual. That would mean 141 would be empty. Don't know if Joey Cozart could make it down to that weight or not. We need to keep recruiting some dpeth at the lower weights. I am hoping Cozart has good things to say about the program. His former HS team has some of the best lower weights int he country.

Iowa is a dual team this year. That being said, Brands always seems to have a couple of surprises. The thing that makes me believe thsi won't happen is that most of the guys who are potential AA for them have been whipped by the better wrestlers.
