Cael Sanderson vs Jake Herbert

Regardless of how you feel about Cael, you have to appreciate the ease at which he handles Jake Herbert in the finals. The man is amazing on the mat. Jake Herbert looks like a novice against Cael.

The funniest thing about this is there were two very vocal morons on the open mat who thought Max Askren was going to take down Cael. Where the heck did Askren place in this anyways?

I don't think anyone in the US is going to take down Cael. Really wish I could see him wrestle Varner though.

I like Varner as a future champion in the freestyle ranks. He is maxed out physically for that weight, and his defensive style is perfect for freestyle. But other than size, I don't think he has a lot to offer Sanderson, who is just so explosive for a guy in the upper weights. Sandersons propensity for offense gets him in trouble on the international stage, but if he can get himself into top shape, he will be the US's best chance at a Gold at the Worlds.
