Donny Pritzlaff to ISU?

I hope this is true, but only if he is here for a few years. If he takes the job I hope we are not looking for a new assistant coach after next year. Donny will be on the short list for any school looking to hire a new head coach next year. That being said this would be a big hire for KJ, but either way I believe ISU is heading in the right direction.

Agree. Rumors on other wrestling boards claim Pritzlaff is heading to Michigan instead of ISU. Other sources are claiming that one or both of the Paulsons will be joining ISU's staff.

I assume that him and Barry Davis and/or Barry A (The AD) must of had a major falling out. I bet he would be at American if he never this was going to happen. If a quality head coaching job came up next year, he'd be interviewing.

I think the Michigan thing and American deal might have lead to the fall out. Interviewing for jobs, but really wanting a time table to take over the Wisconsin job. Probably similiar to the Cael situation, except Barry A didn't force Barry Davis out.

This would be the perfect scenario IMO. The one noticeable difference between KJ and our previous coach is recruiting. Pritzlaff can fill a huge hole there, and can give this staff a connection to some of the better Midwest programs. that would be a huge lift for this program. Get it done!!
