CWC Tailgate vs Iowa

1 recruit in this past weekend, and 10 next weekend. Hopefully the weather is better but any day is a good day to talk Cyclone wrestling.

Big recruiting weekend for Iowa State wrestling. Mainly in state recruits, haven't heard if #1 recruit in the nation Taylor Massa of Michigan will be here or not. Hope so.

Think Justin Koethe, Willie Miklus, Gabe Moreno, Alex Meyer, Zach Witte, John Meeks, Dakota Bauer, and Jack Hathaway.

Not sure just my guesses.

Kevin Beazley of Michigan was here last weekend. Probably a 184 pounder in college.

ReplyWell today is the start of ISU big recruiting weekend and wow their is a ton of talent here. But let me tell you the other big news BOAZ BEARD IS BACK AT ISU and ready to wrestle. Yes you are reading it right, this is big news for the team. BOAZ close friend is checking things out right now and that is Tyler Caldwell, watched them workout together and that is a lot of talent.
The guys I saw their today was
Meeks, Larson, Moreno, Hathaway, Bauer, koethe, mcCauley ( spelled that wrong ) , royal from NC, I AM MISSING ONE OR TWO

royal from NC was Jesse Doyle of North Carolina and he committed to Iowa State after the win. 184 pounder I think.

Willie Miklus and Alex Meyer were also there.

I want to thank all the CYCLONES for the warm welcome Jesse Doyle received from everyone this weekend. I have coached Doyle since he was in 8th grade and I am really proud of him. This is a great fit for Jesse and his goals both in life and wrestling. I believe Coach Jackson can get him where he wants to be. I look forward to the future of IOWA STATE.
