Re: List of known recruits that visited Ames

If we were to pull in McCauley and Caldwell I would be ok with what Jackson is doing. My question is what is Tsirtsis going to do for the next level? He and Massa are head and shoulders above any other wrestlers in this class.

Tsirtsis appears to be Northwestern bound.

I would be ecstatic if we got those two but at this point I can't say I'm optimistic.

Re: List of known recruits that visited Ames

Down to 3 recruits that we know have visited and not committed anywhere

    Kyle Larson -125
    Dakota Bauer - 133 - committed
    John Meeks - 133/141 - committed
    Gabe Moreno - 149 - committed
    Destin McCauley - 157
    Tyler Caldwell - 165/174
    Jesse Doyle - 184 - committed

And they are big recruits, I hope our lack of interest in Iowa boys like Meyer and Witte means we're in good shape with McCauley and Caldwell.

Why not? They have both shown a lot of interest and seemed to really like their Ames experience. KJ has to have some cash left, and these would be perfect grabs.

    scholarship money going out

Have to remember we will put Boaz Beard back on scholarship also.
Sorenson, Ward, Hawes(already left the team), Simonson are on scholarship and seniors.
Will Bo(if still with the team, is still on roster), and Trent Weatherman(2 earlier incidents) have their scholarships reduced?
That seem to be the available money.

Any chance of Miklus opening it back up? With Mizzou going to a conference that doesn't support wrestling, and the future of the program looking uncertain, would we have a chance, or even want a chance at him again?

Can't imagine Schlosser doesn't get kicked to the curb. He looks like Andrew Long the second. Maybe he will end up at PSU?
