Re: Okie State squeaks by Iowa on the mat
Yeah, even though I was pulling for Okie State I didn't really care that the announcers were being huge Iowa homers. If they did that in a match against Iowa State or UNI I'd care, but not against an out of state team.
I did find it really amusing how blatant they can be, but it doesn't bother me.

I thought Okie St deserved the tie breaker cuz they certainly had to put up with with a lot of questionable calls fromt he officials. Way to go Pokes.

Iowa got most of the breaks but I didn't see any egregious calls for either team. The refs did a good job of not letting the Carver crowd influence them.

Oliver has not had to go the distance often this year and it may have cost him in this match. It is such a fine line when two top ranked wrestlers meet. Realize too that wrestling at CHA is the biggest home mat advantage there is.

Only thing I seen that the refs didnt call fair were stall call. Marion stalled most of the match and was basically rewarded in the end for it.

Okie st should have won a couple of years ago, good to see them win this one.

Re: Okie State squeaks by Iowa on the mat
Ramos earned the victory. Kid wrestled above himself and the home crowd kept him juiced when they were both gassed. I think Ramos loses outside Carver though.

Did Marion wrestle against Okie? He has a driving while disqualified, doesn't he?
