Second coaches' ranking (CR) and first RPI were released this afternoon.

Here's a quick look at the Big 12. CR listed first, RPI second, and D1 WinPct third if necessary. Several guys will not be in the RPI rankings because they haven't met the minimum number of matches.

Big 12 would have 27 qualifiers (using a 28/28/.700 scale) at this point.

NCAA RELEASES SECOND WRESTLING COACHES’ PANEL RANKINGS AND FIRST RPI

Need 17 or 18 D1 matches to get an RPI, Finch is 1 short.
Need to meet 2 of 3 criteria to get 1 of the 29 qualifying berths going into Big 12's
Need 8 matches at your particioating weight to earn a berth (Ward won't get there)

Basically 6 (Finch, Goettl, Sorenson, Spangler, Beard, and Gibson) have shots to lock in Big 12 qualifying spots. The other 4 are going to have to take somebody elses spot at Big 12 tourney to qualify for Nationals.

Only 4 at large spots/weight available, so you don't want to rely on that.
