Andrew Sorenson at Nationals
Andrew got everything he could ask for at Nationals. Now he just needs to perform. He is the opposite side of Taylor and to me the next 2 best wrestlers other than Andrew are Asper the #7 seed and Onufer the #2 seed and they are on the same quarter bracket.
Booth is Andrew's 1st round then he would have Pepppelman of Cornell who Andrew beat 21-6 in the dual and if seeds hold would have Yates of VT in quarters and Andrew beat him 21-6 in the dual.
Andrew needs to go out and lay the hammer down and not wrestle the close cautious matches that he's done lately.
Excellent draw for Andrew!

Great! And thanks for the separate threads for our wrestlers.

Re: Andrew Sorenson at Nationals
Sorenson really got the best possible draw. He doesn't face anyone that should present much of a challenge until the semi-finals and has an excellent chance to make the finals. Hopefully he learned from the Big 12s and will be back on track next week.

I know I believe hes capable of great things next week. The VT kid got hurt during that match and faded quickly. However I agree its a great spot for Andrew to be in.

Re: Andrew Sorenson at Nationals
I agree that Sorenson has to get back to form if he is going to finish in the top 4. But this draw is perfect for him. I was looking at the matchups earlier to get the info for my preview thread and I seriously think that his toughest match before the semifinals will be his first round opponent.

Re: Andrew Sorenson at Nationals
Agree Judoka. Andrew got beat by Booth his freshman year at Nationals 12-3 in the wrestlebacks. Redemption time!!!

Re: Andrew Sorenson at Nationals
3 of Booth's 5 losses were at the Cliff Keen Invite in Las Vegas at the beginning of the season
They were to Kokesh, Jordan, and Onufer of Wyoming. all very good wrestlers.
