    Not pretty. But he stayed in good position and took advantage of a mistake by Booth to get the backpoints. Once he had the lead he played it safe. Better than Big XIIs for sure.

    Beard will have Schmiditke of Oklahoma in the wrestlebacks. He is 2-0 against Schmiditke this year, a 7-4 dual win and a 8-6 overtime win at Big XIIs.

    As long as he beats Schmiditke Beard is actually in a better spot bracketwise. Trotman from App State would be an easier matchup than Gambrell.
