I certainly hope not. I think the Gophers and Hawkeyes will have something to say about that. I wish the Cyclones would be in that mix as well, but it's gonna take a while.

It doesn't help that we are in a conference where wrestling is becoming an afterthought. As much as I despise Cael for leaving, he's in a conference now where wrestling is still a major sport.

With the recruits he's getting at PSU, the sky is the limit. Considering Gable won 15 titles as a coach, something tells me Cael won't be satisfied until he has at least 16.

Here's a crazy thought: Why not offer the Cyclone head coaching position to Cody Sanderson? Hiring him would upset Cael and disrupt the PSU program. Cody may be a mostly unproven head coach, but he has some experience (Utah Valley State, associate head coach at ISU, and he is the associate head coach at PSU).

I'm with you. I could tell that Brands does not like the current situation Andy think we'll see him try some desperate things. Cael has it going now and who among the best are not going to want to go to Happy Valley? Three undefeated champions and a true freshman in the finals. Wrestling is going to become a totally Big 10-dominated sport unless other schools make it a priority.

Some people would tell you that Cody may be the best coach on the staff.
