    Mike Zadick

Its being reported that Mike Zadick is out at Iowa.
Any chance KJ would have room for him on ISU's staff?
Would the fans welcome him with open arms?

No thank you, his matside behavior at Iowa was ridiculous and that whole illegal trapping with wrestlers

I think I would pass since we have Paulsons and Reader wrestling with the heavier weights. I don't see were we would have room for him as we have a full staff. We got our big need when we got Nickerson. He will get on somewhere tho.

the same way we would accept one of the Brands as a head coach, never have the alumni behind it and never will happen.

Yeah Maybe, but if fans think we had problems, go read the Wisconsin Wrestling forum and you will feel pretty good about our program

Wisky is in some serious trouble. They had Morningstar working with what appeared to be there only decent part of there linup. He's now gone. IMO they need to get a pretty big hire here to get them off the sinking battleship.

I was surprised Morningstar left because Koethe pretty much said he was the main reason he was going to Wisky. Gotta hurt, especially in a sport like wrestling.

If its true and Zadick does leave it will be a big loss. Rumor is Brands and him had a falling out. Never know if its true but the same guy called the M* hiring couple days before official. Queso? Something like that. Real piece of work but drops some good info about all wrestling teams on HR.

    Re: Mike Zadick

I did go to a Badger message board and funny to see how they are all wanting Zadick to be hired. Prolly wouldn't be a bad hire for em but imo, they need someone better than Zadick. They are in a tailspin and don't appear to be in a position to be out of it any time soon either. Even though ISU has had its problems lately, I feel a lot more comfortable with were we are vs Wisky.

Wait...what? Mike Zadick a heavier weight? No.

I'd put the WI DNR on alert that he may be coming. Allegations included poaching too, I believe. Unfruitful investigation, presumed innocent until guilty whole thing. It is Linn County, though.

And hey, they have high powered rifles up there. More like MT, that could be attractive. That, and coaching against the team that let you go.

    Re: Mike Zadick

excuse my ignorance, but what happened with the Wiscy wrestling program?
The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

    Re: Mike Zadick

Zadick has been the biggest buffoon on Iowa's bench for a few years now. I would not be happy if we tried to bring him on. Luckily, I don't see that ever happening.

Exactly! I guess I dont understand the love or want for this guy. Morningstar, imo, is a good upgrade compared to Zadick.
