Yes, that is where I saw it and talked to a parent and he said we are making a big push for Brandon.

Rumored UNI - heard unlikely
Grandview - maybe, if he doesn't do D1
Upper Iowa - his brother is there
Iowa - they are saying unlikely, never rule out Iowa
Iowa State - I think we are throwing quite a bit of money at him
Okie State or Minnesota - I don't know if he visited them

I am also praying, nervous and excited to see Kyven on the mat. I know he is working extemely hard and with all the personal and health issues he is going thru, I hope he gets his chance on the mat. A true young leader for the team.

Also Boaz Beard being back from baseball for a full season, I'm curious to see what he does this year.

Buzz is down and it seems like they are not doing a good job of bringing it back. A few years ago we were talking about potential National Championships its hard to have fallen so far so fast. Easier for people to just look the other way I think.

Actually, I think its about a lack of info. I've asked several times on various boards for reports from inside the room. Response = cricket chirps. Either no one knows anything, or they're not sharing.

My guess is that the staff is keeping a tight ship. Its a safer play given the circumstances.

That said, if any real info were to appear, I'd bet a host of guys like me (non-insider fan) would be lighting up the boards.

And Brandon Sorenson to the Hawkeyes. KJ whiffs with another in state recruit. We cannot win these battles anymore it appears.

This an't keep happening if we are to turn this ship around. I said it last year and the year before. Success breeds success. KJ needs to make a statement in recruiting - and then we casn sit back and watch others consider Iowa State more seriously too. It is too bad, because I think this could be a great place for a lot of wrestlers. Coaching has to be a plus, as are improved facilities. Fan base would be pretty good too if there was a bit more zip in the program. Hope the recruits visiting this weekend are impressed - and make the right decision!!

this board is quiet because we know that our dream coach left for more money and amazing facilites at rape U, and that our current coach is a god damn moron and can't coach anything but Olympic Freestyle and that we are ****ed. We are supposed to be a wrestling powerhouse, instead we are a god damn clown show.
