Moreno sneaks into 2 of the rankings this week after beating a returning all-american.

There is no reason that Mike Moreno isn't ranked by all 3 ranking polls now. 10-1 and a win over the previous AA, the previous #5 ranked Polz.

Iowa State will have to earn all their rankings. People don't believe Michael Moreno is that improved from last year. I know he is! 165 is a much more comfortable weight for him; he is back to how he looked his freshman year at 165 when we all had high hopes for him. Keep it rolling Moreno!

And I wouldn't freak out too much about NDSU being ranked so much higher as a team - almost all those points are from their 125/165 guys.

Beard will have a good test against Stoll at 184.
Ryak will have to be ready to go and be at his best to beat Sprenkle.
I know Moreno will be ready to battle Monk to show he is for real.
Meeks will also have a good match with Rodriquez.
Our other 6 guys need to perform and hopefully will be able to handle their guys.

#41 sounds like last year. What did we end up last year as a team?

low 30's I think.

We need to have Finch, Meeks, Goettl, England/Weatherman, and Gibson to move up in the ranking. I think, all these guys are capable of being in the top 20 as well as Moreno, Beard and Gadsen. That's 8 out of 10 and I like the way Molina is wrestling and think he can pull some upsets.

Wrestling report has two team rankings one is NCAA scoring which we aren't ranked, the other is the Dual Percentage Index and we are #18 which is encouraging. We aren't ranked on d1collegewrestling.net. Wrestling report has 8/10 ranked which ain't to shabby. If we can get everyone who is ranked currently move up in the top 15 with a few top 10's I think its a big step in the right direction. Also if we get Mayfield back healthy i could see him being a top 20 guy, and if Molina continues to progress he could also be a top 20 guy.
