Have they ever won three in a row during the Jackson era? I'm sure they did the first year, but that seems so long ago. Hope this is a sign the team is turning the corner. Still looks like the upper weights are the strength. 165 and up we can wrestle with just about anybody.

Won 5 in a row in year 1, had an 11-match streak that bridged years 1 and 2, then a 3-match streak at the end of year 2.

It was great to see such a dominant 25-9 win over a #20 ranked Penn team! Another dominant win over Drexel, and it's always fun to beat Rutgers.

Everyone schedules some cupcakes. Look at how many of of Iowa's wins during their long dual meet streak came against teams that weren't even D-1 in events like the Iowa City Duals.

I hope your joking. They had more wins over top 10 and probably top 5 teams then non D-1 teams during that streak.

Yeah there is no denying that Iowa is just a flat out good wrestling program.

They beat plenty of good teams and I give them all the credit in the world. But they schedule their share patsies like everyone else. Just this year -- Cumberland (?), UT-Chatt., Cornell College, Iowa Central CC, Southern Ill - Edwardsville, Buffalo, Hofstra, Bucknell.

True, but they also have this as a schedule as well:

#1 Penn St
#2 Oklahoma St
#3 Minnesota
#5 Ohio St
#6 Illinois
#11 Michigan
#17 Nebraska
#19 Virginia

They only scheduled Hofstra and Bucknell because it was a special event in New York City at Madison Square Garden.

First read over this quick and was thinking someone was out in Colorado smoking, but soon caught the college afterwards..
