Re: National Collegiate Open
4-6 after the second. Mayfield must have picked neutral and gotten a takedown. But gave up a late escape.
Max cuts him to start the third. Down 4-7.

Re: National Collegiate Open
Max gets taken down to his back. Loses 12-4. He must have gone for a desperation body lock throw.

Re: National Collegiate Open
Goettl will get Will Switzer of Lehigh in the next round. Switzer won his first match 6-1. I can't find him on the NWCA site but Lehigh's website lists him as 15-6 with four pins. A decent wrestler but Luke should be able to take care of him.

Re: National Collegiate Open
Beard gets John Shrader of Chattanooga, who won his first match 7-2. Shrader is 14-11 on the year and it doesn't look like he's wrestled a very high level of competition.

Re: National Collegiate Open
England gets Gabe Dean on the Finger Lakes Wrestling Club (i.e. a Cornell greyshirt). Dean was one of the top recruits in the country last year. Since he is not technically on a college roster I am having trouble finding much info on his record other than the fact that he took 4th place at the Binghamton Open earlier this season. He won his first match 13-3.

Finch will get Del Vinas of Kent State in the consolation bracket. Vinas is 9-13 and got pinned by Jared Germaine of Eastern Michigan in the first round.

Re: National Collegiate Open
14-2 Major Decision for Meeks.

Re: National Collegiate Open
Meeks will get Joey Gosinki of Hofstra next. Gosinski had a first round bye and won via injury default in the second round. Gosinski is 10-7 on the year, including a 3-5 loss to Patrick Hunter.
