Anybody notice that no-talent Ferentz kid, the one who's father gave him an undeserved football scholarship (long thread from last week), is in the 3A Heavyweight finals? <sarcasm>
James is a great kid, and here's hoping he pulls an upset to salvage something for the once-proud City High wrestling program!
Lastly, for all the discussion in this thread about Don Bosco, Waverly-Shell Rock had set a state wrestling meet scoring record after the semi-final round! I don't know a soul from W-SR, but I love them for having denied IC West another crown! Go Go-Hawks! Boo Trojans! Here's hoping all four of your returning champions go down tonight, especially that program jumping Gambrall...

I'm hoping that the Thompson kid ( ISU recruit) can disappoint you. Great tradition of wrastling in that family.

Thompson family tradition. If he's a Cyclone recruit (didn't know), I can live with that... 
Future Cyclones over future hawkeyes any day!
If James happens to prevail, I'll be OK with that too. Thompson can use it as incentive to get better...

Trent Weatherman (JR), Ballard Huxley
NL is going to UI and TW is a D1 recruit and both are undefeated.
