Great photo's...Thanks for sharing. It appears that you are using a flash....Just wondering as that is a little surprising as you would think it would blind them at times?

Re: Photos from ISU - Missouri Meet

after you posted the one of bert's fall, i wondered if that was you. :-) you had TWO freight trains barreling right at you in that HWT match! Thanks for the post! - and in reply to zach's question, hilton has an in house flash system set up on the ceiling - wesley, are you hooked into that?

Re: Photos from ISU - Missouri Meet

These are all with an on-camera flash. I think there are at least two sets of strobes in Hilton and I've never even asked about getting to use them since I'm not with ISU or have any real media credential. The ISU Daily uses them and the guy that has the contract with the athletic dept uses them plus maybe the register??

I would love to get to use them once for basketball but for wrestling I would probably still choose my flash because it separates the wrestlers from the background more and I like that effect. I can shoot two off camera flashes but don't want to try that at an ISU meet without experimenting first....maybe at the wrestle-off next fall.

Hi Ian, For wrestling I use a 70-200 L f2.8 and a 24-70 L f2.8 and I use them each pretty much equally.
