Jon Reader and Jake Varner may be moving up to 174 and 197, respectively. There will be two very tough freshman at 165 and 184. At 165, Nate Carr Jr. or Andrew Sorenson will fill in at 165 and Jerome Ward will wrestle at 184.
Nate Carr Jr. is son of cyclone great Nate Carr Sr. and Jerome Ward is a highly touted recruit from Illinois.

I think ISU will get 3rd, behind Iowa and Oklahoma St. Michigan 4th and Minny 5th.

Granted there is more than five teams at nationals and it is all about match ups, but we just beat Nebraska by 15 to 20 points in a TOURNAMENT. Even with 5 teams in the Big 12 tournament, they should have won it if they are supposedly a better tournament team than us because they wrestled the same guys we did. I guess we will find out next weekend, but I just don't see Nebraska finishing ahead of us.

Nate is listed as and 2007-08 recruit along with Eric Thompson, Chris Spangler, and Andrew Long.
February 23-24, 2007 Nate Carr Jr. won the NJCAA National Championship at 157 in his true freshman season. This year he is redshirting at Iowa Central. STPNS - Carr earns JUCO national championship, Gray, Georgia
