I'm not sure of the exact team scoring for a tournament, but a dual meet you get 3 team points for regular, 4 for a major and 5 for a tech fall and 6 for a fall.

If someone knows the scoring for a tournament format could you help us out.

I am not 100% on this scoring but I think it is, 2 points for a pin, 1.5 for tech. fall with back points, 1 for major dec. or tech. fall with no back points. Also 1 point for advancement on the championship side and 1/2 point advancement on the consolation side.

Excellent question. I'm not 100% sure but, I think I saw somewhere that you don't get the points since these are drawn randomly and not all teams will have one therefore creating scoring opportunities that others may not have.

That's kinda what I thought too. But, I was thinking they could get points for major, tech, etc...
