Re: Thursday evening session thread:

Iowa seems to be rolling. They're going to be hard to beat.

'But I love the idea of the Sacrificial Lamb. . . There are consequences to actions. The point of the death of Christ is that Christ took on the sins of the world, so that what we put out did not come back to us, and that our sinful nature does not reap the obvious death. That's the point. It should keep us humbled. . . It's not our own good works that get us through the gates of heaven.'

Re: Thursday evening session thread:

Based on tonight's outcomes and what is left, what are the chances of an ISU win?

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

Iowa is the team to beat. They would have to have some guys get knocked off, before we can even think about having a chance.

Thanks - I've been out of the loop so far tonight on the standings and that sums it up pretty well.

Far, far, far..... from over. Tomorrow's matches will be much more important than tonight. A lot of points at stake tomorrow. The hawks are in the drivers seat, but if they stumble and we do well tomorrow, we're right there with them. Keep the faith and pray for the hawks to falter.
