Also what weights does anyone think that these three could wrestle at at ISU? |

I came up with Eric Thompson (HWT) , Andrew Long (125) , Chris Spangler (174) and Nate Carr, Jr. (157). I couldn't figure out who all signed though. With Aaron Scott graduating, that leaves a hole to fill at 174. If we actually get Covington, Spangler, and Carr, 157-174 would have a ton of competition (Reader, Sanderson, Covington, Spangler, Carr). I'm really excited about next year. |

I might be totally off base with the baseball half-scholarship thing because I can't remember where I heard about it. |

I might be totally off base with the baseball half-scholarship thing because I can't remember where I heard about it. I believe it is 9.9 Scholarships on any one team. And yes, we do give out half-scholarships.

I think Varner could move up but I really, really like Reader at 165 next year. 184 is going to stacked next year so moving Varner up to 197 might make it easier for him.

Yes, Varner and Reader should be moving up. Reader at 174 could be a better fit for him. He was one of the tallest 165s this year and his dad is a bigger sized guy. I can see him growing into the weight very well next year.
As for who will replace Reader and Varner, Ward should be the man at 184. 165 could feature a wrestle off of two 2007 National JUCO Champs both from Iowa Central. Although not confirmed yet, Colby Covington 165 National JUCO Champ could be a Cyclone next season. Carr Jr. was the 157 National JUCO Champ and he has a verbal to Cael.
I ran into Colby in St. Louis and he is very excited about being a Cyclone. Both Covington and Carr Jr. would have three years of eligibilty left.
