    Recruit added to 2008 Class

    Trevor Dearden of Salem, NH will redshirt at 125 for the Cyclones this upcoming season. With Kist and Kiley leaving the Cyclones, glad to have another option at 125 if Tyler Clark goes down. Dearden will be walking on.

    Kist and Kiley are both from Eagle Grove. Pretty sure Kist is at Wartburg and Kiley may be there as well.

    The Lincoln Journal Star is reporting that Ridge Kiley will go to Nebraska. Described as an ISU recruit (a walk on actually) he may have been influenced by the departure of Donahoe and Jordan (paid for posing nude) which gives him a chance for a starting role.

    Actually when I was at Wartburg.... we beat at D1 wrestling team and men's basketball team.

    I did not see Dearden mentioned in the wrestle off's. How did he do? ISU is definately loaded. Just curious, we dont hear much back here in NE.

    He's on the roster but didn't compete in the wrestle-off.

    not completely sad. they have had national champions in one year get beat out of their varsity spots the next by a teammate. they are scary good. i would think they could probably hang with a lot of d-1 wrestling schools. maybe not win a lot, but definately hang with them.
