Afterall, as it was so thoroughly explained to me a little under a year ago, teams can't be "dead even" unless it's a tie. Iowa won, therefore, the teams were not even.
At least, that's what ISU fans told me.

its was about as clear cut of a case of fleeing the mat as you can get. to be fair, he was slow on calls both ways. boy did he like to hear himself talk tho.

We talked about how close of a meet is actually was. He is the one that told me what he had been hearing...like I said, only a possible explanation. NF really did control the match though. Ward looked tough as well. It was just too bad we couldn't pull out one win in the lighter weights...that really was the momentum killer when they gave the reversal or escape and instead of OT we lost the match...

Tom Brands is awesome. If there's one guy who I'd like to have a conversation with in the shower, it's him. -

Re: More Quotes from Coach Brands
Perhaps we should have a poll to see who on this site would like to have a one-on-one with Tom Brands in the shower.

Re: More Quotes from Coach Brands
not sticking up for brands here, but do you think that cael has a separate shower that he uses for just himself after practice? in hs the coach didn't have a different shower. and the coach actually practices. it isn't like football where the coach just calls plays, they actually wrestle in practice.

I think it is the "one-on-one" part that triggered some Matt Stairs type thoughts.
