Who is all going up there to support the Cyclones this weekend?

When the bracket usually go up for the tourney?

Not sure when the Brackets will be posted, Ranking come out on Intermat on Tuesday afternoon.

I found the 16 teams that will be there on the National Dual website, he is my guess on the Top 4 Seeds:

1. Iowa
2. Iowa State
3. Cornell - that will be a very tough match for ISU, they would be favored at 5 wts. Bonus Pts will be CRITICAL, VERY TOUGH MATCH FOR ISU.

4. Nebraska or Missouri - Both of these teams have some weak spots in their lineup.

There are 8 - Big 10 teams along with Buffalo, Wyoming, and UNI.

Anybody know about Burke's availability for this weekend? Bracket looks pretty favorable for how we're wrestling right now - I don't forsee another Hofstra debacle like at the beginning of last year. What a downer after driving to CF in the snow. #3 seed, and drew a team that was favored in 4 matches, and won five. All the way down to a # of pins tie-breaker. :-(

I think isu, iowa, and cornell are def a small step above the rest of the field here

I do not believe there will be live TV coverage. Intermat will post updated results. ESPNU will have a program that covers the Duals a week later (Sat, Jan 17 at 2:00pm, then Jan 27th, and Feb 1st).

I thought Burk dislocated his shoulder, out 4 - 6 weeks, but I could be wrong. That will be a tough loss, we need him.

#3 Cornell will be very TOUGH. Based on Rankings, they will be favored at 5 wts, we will be favored at 5 wts. Upsets and Bonus Points will Factor into it.

What five weights will Cornell be favored? I see that at 157, 165 and 174 they will be favored (although I like Sanderson's chances). 184 is a toss-up. 133 will be a tough match for Fanthorpe with Grey but he should be the favorite. Hopefully Mueller can win at 149. I think that we are clearly favored at 125, 141, 197 and Hwt. Also, the only match I see them having much bonus point capability is at 174. I think we have good chances for bonus at 125, 141, and 197. I'm guessing Varner is going to wrestle with an attitude. Especially after he gets the chance to wrestle Herbst again. Maybe Z can get bonus points as well, but not as likely. Will be a tough match though. Hopefully ISU will get past Wisky to get to Cornell. Don't want any Hofstra moments again this year!

125 should be a really good match between Nickerson and Clark

Nickerson has been sitting out for awhile now but probably a good chance he will be back for the national duals.

He was a NCAA Finalist as a freshman in 06 then third in 07 then sat out last year with shoulder problem

He is a tough kid should be a great challenge for clark

125, 133, 157, 165, and 184 are the toss up matches

174 favors Cornell
141, 149, 197, and 285 favor Iowa State

Based on Intermat's Rankings from Dec 16:

Cornell has a higher ranked kid at: 133, 157, 165, 174, 184

I have not seen Cornell wrestle this year, but they appear to be tough on paper.
