Not your fault. When was the last time an announcer actually said something accurate about ISU? I used to think it was limited to football because we're not a powerhouse in the sport, now we can't get any love from the wrestling announcers. RABBBLE RABBLE RABBLE!
on a side note Ed Hightower was Reffing the MBB KU vs. Michigan St. game today and I take all I have ever said about him hating us, he is actually that incompetent.
He is an incredible one. Somehow, he is looked at as one of the best officials in the land by the folks that make those decisions, but not by anyone that watches the games.
At last years' Iowa-ISU game, though he wasn't there, I did enjoy hearing the Hawk fans yelling "Get Hightower out of there" every time a foul went against them.
Apparently, every team thinks that Eddie is out to get them. Maybe he's impartially incompetent.
Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!
Actually, I'm glad we are wrestling Boise. It would be nice to see Varner get revenge on the WI kid, but we have not wrestled Boise yet and we have wrestled WI in the Dual plus saw them at the Midlands.
I see why now. The announcers were probably assuming Wisconsin was going to win because they are ranked 7th and Boise isn't ranked but Boise must have beaten them. Below is a link to the bracket. I am guessing we roll Boise (hopefully) and probably wrestle #3 Cornell and then #1 Iowa. It'll be a tough road for the cyclones but they can do it!
