Re: Recruits
How many Weatherman brothers are there and what grade are they in? Are they all as good as Trent?

Re: Recruits
What is the National Rank of this class?
-
Re: Recruits
I think by the time Taylor gets done with his rshirt year he'll be 149/157.

Iowa will probably have a higher ranked class than Iowa State again though. They have #1 160 St. John, #3 171 Lofthouse, #4 125 Ramos, and #6 145 Carew. (Overall National Individual Rankings) http://awn.awnonline.com/?q=node/101

#1 135 Tanner Weatherman (So.)
#1 152 Trent Weatherman (Sr.)
#1 171 Brock Weatherman (Jr.)
I think Trent is the best, but Brock isn't far behind.

I think Trent is the best, but Brock isn't far behind. Let's hope Trent talks them into coming to ISU.

Wrestling recruiting is tough because of the limited number of scholarships. Factor in the fact that a majority of ISU's scholarships are tied up in this year's junior class and you have the makings of a small but talented incoming group.

#2 135 Eric Grajales and Taylor are the top 2 recruits in the nation at all weights. Taylor says that he will go to Senior Nationals if Grajales goes as well.
Taylor has been quoted saying he looks forward to wrestling Grajales. Taylor is not afraid of going after the top competition.

Just found this. Team USA release for Dapper Dan. USA All-Stars will wrestle PA All-Stars. Looks like Grajales is listed at 140. I think Grajales will go at 135 at Senior Nationals.

Do you think we would have had enough money to go after one more top recruit had we not had to go so hard at Trent at the end? I'm glad he's a cyclone of course, but I just wonder if our original offer to Trent had left enough over.
