Why in gods green earth are we allowing 2 Penn State assistant coaches to work out in Ames with our 141 pounder or whoever else they are working out with. Sounds like they are flat out recruiting our wrestlers.

Cael has been back to work out with Varner, who is working towards the world team trails. I can see it both ways. If you are gone, then you are gone. But one doesn't want to leave the kids high and dry on reaching thier goals, which what the college athletics is all about anyway.

This thread is full of stupid.

Wrestling, more than any other sport, is where the coaches have the closest connection to their players. If Sanderson and Cunningham don't have to leave to go to Penn State they absolutely should be drilling their guys to make them better.

I hardly see any of this as "recruiting". I see this as guys finishing their job. We should be happy they did not leave our guys high and dry and are setting us up for a good year. Just like they would have done if they were staying.
