    Las Vegas tournament

    Did anyone catch the freestyle tournament on espn2 last night. It was taped from a few weeks back but it was fun to see Jake Varner win the national championship. I think the world team trials will be in Council Bluffs at the end of May??
    Another thing that was interesting was to see Cael and Kevin Jackson right next to each other. This was all before Cael left. Also, both Paulsons won their championships. One against Brent Metcalf after losing the first period.

    Edit: So, at the world team trials there will be two former Cyclones and one current.

    Yeah I watched some of it. I thought Paulson's soundbite about Metcalf was funny. It was an interview where he said, "yeah he was really ******* me off"...

    Missed this a month ago but caught it today as it was on... Also thought it was really interesting seeing Cael and Jackson there and the interaction KJ had with the Paulsons and Varner, well before Cael left and he was named the new coach

    I also just caught this on TV today. I really liked the intensity of KJ on the sideline. I think that will show in the team in the future. We could use a fire under us.

    Not sure if this tourn was before Cael left or not, but KJ and Cael cornered Varner together at the WTT, well AFTER Cael left. They seem to have a good relationship.

    Yeah I wasn't sure either, but I looked it up and it was about a week before it was announced Cael took the PSU job
