Question for you wrestling/NCAA experts out there. KJ said he would not be surprised if Cael is working on Varner. Can he do that legally? Seems like that would be out of line.

Glad to hear the 2 recruits are staying. I hope Cyler does too, but would not be at all surprised to see him go......but if they do not want to release anyone to Iowa or Penn State.......where would they go?

Thank you Weatherman and Beard. We are happy you stuck with ISU. Wonder who the 1 or 2 on the fence are. Hopefully there is no fire to the Varner rumor, but weirder things have happened.

Can't agree more. Great pipeline hopefully.

This is nice work out of KJ. For those who don't know him, he is very impressive, especially in person. He is a winner, and seems to have way more fire. I hope in 5 years this coaching change proves to be a blessing in disguise, much like trading GC for CPR.

I think Cael cannot contact Varner whatsoever once he took the PSU job.

Great news on Weatherman. I also think KJ has a better chance on guys like Moreno, Knight and Gadson than if Manning had taken the job.

I'm hearing a "not so fast my friend" on Weatherman. It's possible that my info pre-dates any discussion Jackson had with him and of course it would be very strange if KJ went public with this without being 100% confident. But, if we find out in a few days or a week that Weatherman decides to wrestle elsewhere I will not be surprised.

Also, look for Tyler Clark to transfer to Iowa.
