    Nick Fanthorpe

    How is Nick Fanthorpe coming along? Is he a Senior this year?

    He is a senior with a burned redshirt this year, and he was doing real well last year until he got hurt. He didnt AA last year, but look for him to AA next year, higher than his 7th from his sophomore year.

    Didn't take you for a rasslin fan as the bears dont have a team..

    Sorry, what do you mean a "burned" redshirt, is he sitting 09-10?

    I think illinoiscyclone just meant that Nick has already used his redshirt and he will be a senior this upcoming season. I think I ran into Nick last week on the cross country course and he seemed to be running well. I didn't have my contacts in but I'm pretty sure it was him.

    Is that for real?? I had spoken with him in early summer and he was still rehabbing but didn't act like there would be any surgery. I hope all goes well for him and he can recover fully.

    This is correct, Out 8 weeks from what I heard. Pulled the muscles clean off the bone.
