Re: #2 ISU at #6 Minnesota - Wrestling - 2 pm
As with most of our tough matchups, its seems to come down to some common weight classes, 125, 133, 141, 165.
If one or all of these weight classes win against Iowa the last couple of years, we win the duals, Midlands, probably the National duals as well. Its hard not to put all of the pressure upon them, but if they will their matches, it seems ISU will roll.
I like what I see from Long lately, he will just need to finish it out. Fanthorpe did have the big win last year versus Slaton, but has not finished it out since then (injury). Gallick did not win versus Iowa last year, but did come up big this year versus Leclare (but now has injury). Reader did finally get the monkey off of his back so far this year with Morning*, although he will have a monumental task today against the Minnesota kid.
If ISU can win all of those matches, they roll. Realistically they won't, and it will be close. I look forward to how KJ will get them mentally prepared for this dual. Go Cyclones!
