Aaaaand it's on the Big Ten Network at 7:00 PM.

I do believe I will have to watch that.

There was a many page forum about it last year, so I don't want to start it again. I believe everybody except hawk fans came were in agreement that time was out when the push happened (not sure what the timing of the fleeing has to do with anything). I think there was a discussion on themat forums as well.

Not to start this crap again and this will be the only post I make on this subject but how about wrestling until there are all zero's on the clock then do your backflip and celebrate instead of trying to show up your opponent when there is still time on the clock?

They will both win this year, no doubt in my mind. But Varner is not the most dominant. Being able to ride someone the entire match is not as dominant as being able to score at will like Metcalf does. You can see this by the scores of his matches. If you watch him wrestle-minus the championship last year- he basically does what he wants, when he wants it, how he wants. He tech. falls people like its a walk in the park. Varner is very good but I would have to rank him as number 2. Obviously this is a topic that is completely opinion based and I'm sure everyone here will disagree, but that's what forums are for.

CloneHomer, they also have no points given for our HWT in that scenario.

It was Dennis first time wrestling in more than a month, and he lost on a last 2nd TD to the #6 ranked wrestler, but he's not back? Weird assumption.

With Gallick out and IU HWT in, the Hawks will have a 25+ pt advantage. Those points can be made up with pins, tech falls, and majors. But yes, ISU will need to have a good (3) days of wrestling to win.

Alot can happen in the next 6 weeks.

Did you watch that match on the Big 10 Network? It looked like Oliver had the TD on the edge of mat.

It was close, but Dennis still had his leg, hence, "looked" like a TD. You could tell Dennis was gassed, and Oliver got to him at the very end, but it's not like it was a bad loss. Oliver stalled the first two periods before finally deciding to wrestle at the end, reminded me of M*. My point was, that it sure looked like Dennis was back, when he lost a 1 point decision to a top six wrestler. All he needs to do for Iowa is AA, with a top 5 as an added bonus.
