I think I know where you went to school.. If true I went there to several years ago. Good luck to your brothers.

Also Gadson Vs. Knight will likely be a second round match up. Knight committed to Cornell and Obviously Gadson to ISU. Maybe one of the toughest brackets. Riley from Rosevelt is on the top side of the bracket, who has beated Knight several times this year and is a legit D1 prospect.

Bosco got 10 thru this year ( Thats where I am from). Never found it fair to have so many great teams at the same districts every year. Lots of great kids stay home.

Pretty sure Gadsen is going to be the most impressive. I don't know if he's had a match this year that wasn't a tech fall or pin.

My old High School only got 8 in this year. Not enough to contend for the title. One of my current local schools sends 9. Also not likely enough to contend, but both could place fairly well. Should be a fun tournament to follow.

Denver/Tripoli will give Ballard all they can handle in 2A. There's lots of star power on those two teams and there will be some head to heads between them that could decide it. I don't think anybody will touch either of the Weathermans. Hiatt getting through Noble early on will be huge for Ballard's team chances.

All they can handle and more. I would be willing to bet on DT this year. It is definitely going to be interesting.

I actually favor D/T as well. They know this is "THEIR YEAR" and I think they'll wrestle with urgency. They have some absolute hammers in their lineup. The younger Sorenson is one of the better freshman to come along in awhile.

Anybody know if Knight and Gadson have met before? I was hoping we'd get Knight buy maybe Gadson is the better wrestler. I love the way the older Moreno wrestles and the younger one may be as good or better. Is Voelker considered an elite high schooler? Looks like we've got some great young legacy wrestlers coming up.

Knight has had some injury problems. Gadson has not and has an impressive two years. Id look for some great things from him. Its unfortunate they will likely meet so early in Des Moines.

The younger Knight for Urbandale looks really good for a freshman and the Moreno bros both look extremely tough. Hopefully ISU can snag these Urbandale kids and bring them into the program.

I wouldn't call him elite but I will say he's really good. I don't know if anyone will beat him at state. When I think elite I think of Jay Borschel, Ryan Morningstar, etc.

Voelker has great upside potential. I think 151 wins and counting puts you in the elite category even though he has no state championships. A part of this is because he is very aggressive and shoots alot forcing the action. All of his loses have come from getting caught while shooting. As he matures and his experience increases he will only get better.

He also won the class 3A 400 meter run in 2009. How many 200 lbs wrestlers can do that? He is a good athlete and a good student who turned down several football and track schollies.
