ISU host NU tomorrow

What has happened to NU? The Big 12 co-champs last year who also gave ISU a run for 3rd at the NCAAs are not even in Intermat's top 25 now. They have only three ranked wrestlers, compared to all 10 of ISU's now ranked for the first time this year.

Dwyer #4 at 174 is the only one ranked higher than the ISU wrestler. While this should be an easy match for the team, Varner will have his biggest test so far this season against #2 Brester, the last guy to beat him. #14 Tucker Lane will likely have Z going down to the wire once again.

Unless a few guys are looking ahead and have an off-night, Cyclones should win in a walk.

IPTV is broadcasting the dual. Nebr had a bunch of kids graduate and their defending national champ got hurt at 157 early in the year. They also had at least one kid get into trouble and Im not to sure hes not in jail now. Romero Cotton????

I dont know what they have redshirting but they arent even close to the same team they were a year ago.


I hope everyone goes tomorrow to support the seniors we have watched the last 5 years. They deserve to have a big crowd say goodbye to them.

I watched NU wrestle Oregon State in Corvallis a few weeks back. The Beavs didn't have any problems with them and I don't think we will either.

Maybe at 184 but with as much as the line for seeding as there is I wouldnt count on it. KJ stated that Long was given the week off last week for a mental break. They have two weeks off after today so I will fully expect to see him wrestle.

Same here in Southwest Iowa on IPTV. I think it is cause Dan Gable is there and they wouldn't know what to do with out him.
