I'm guessing that wasn't supposed to be published.
The Courier Wednesday that Northern Iowa's search committee is planning to recommend four names to the Human Resources department as potential replacements for fired head wrestling coach Brad Penrith.
I hope this doesn't affect their next album.
That would be a difficult job to take. With the recent financial talks their wrestling program is probably on thin ice. If ISU can become self-sufficient in the next few years then that puts a lot more pressure on UNI to do the same. That would lead to major cuts and the possibility of losing programs. UNI's wrestling team doesn't have the history to be kept just because its wrestling in Iowa.
UNI is already at the minimum number of sports to offer for D1 teams. They can't drop wrestling. But they can cut support for it (scholarships and salaries).
They already barely support it as it is.
