I don't have any knowledge regarding this issue, but is this an issue of semantics? What I mean is, would he have been fired, but ISU gave him the option to resign instead?

But yeah, there's nothing wrong with the program.
This program is at a crossroads right now. We have an unproven coach making questionable decisions with scholarship money and has a tedious relationship with many on the team. I'm deeply concerned with how some of his decisions are effecting our program's relationship with coaches in this state. I feel like we are walking on egg shells right now waiting for the next one to break.
Coach Jackon is trying to make his mark. I just hope like heck his mark is a good one because right now I'm really not sure and I don't know how anyone else can be.

We had 2 Nationals Champs we were not closer to 30th than 1st come on
That said with the loss of long next year looks terrible
If you have a problem - if no one else can help - and if you can find
them - maybe you can hire: The A-Team. -

I can agree with this. I think this year is make it or break it for KJ, and (while I hate to think it) possibly the program.

I understand that Coach Jackson has a lot to learn about being a HC at the college level (and the rules/regulations/restraints from the NCAA) that go along with it. Perhaps it would be better to say we'll have a clearer idea after this year where the program is headed.
I love ISU Wrestling. I grew up on it, and I do expect a lot from the program. I also like Coach Jackson and hope that he succeeds and excels at Iowa State. But I hope that's also not to the detriment of the program/University in the meantime.

This statement (based on point spread) is correct. However, WE WERE 3RD! Our recruiting class this year I've heard is ranked 6th. Even though that's good, it still worries me. I think Cael's at Penn State was ranked 1st and Iowa's was 2nd.
I have some worries but I think Jackson will be better now that he got his college coaching feet wet. We did lose a lot of talent in the graduating class though so I hope we will make up for that with the next few classes.

Has anyone heard who we may have coming in to replace Chris?

This was regarding James Kohler when I posted that James was not going to pursue football and was in fact leaning toward baseball. Like somebody else posted, this is an anonymous board for the most part, but posting wrong information is not ever going to help the program.
