That fish was almost her size. If it was real probably a 20-30 lbs fish. Can a girl that size actually lift that much weight?

I have greater issues with a fish that size being in a creek that only goes up to that girl's knees.

The only thing i am thinking that could make this real, is the fish is trying to lay eggs or just got done and is so tired from it that it would be easy to do this.

I don't know, but in the related video, I'm almost certain that the Hooters girl really didn't catch a beer can while ice fishing. I'm going to watch a few more times and see if I can figure that one out.

It could be real. It is a carp and sometimes they will get up in the rocks and smack their head on one - dang near knock themselves out. It also could have gotten up there and have been dying from lack of oxygen.

The part I find hard to believe as the father of three girls is that the little girl would actually bear hug it to pick it up...

The reason that I think it's fake is because I don't think a girl of that size could lift a fish that big. The fish very well could have been in the creek (most likely died and floated down river), but she picked that thing up pretty easy.

I saw that a couple of days ago. Very well done but I knew there was no way it could be real. The trajectory was all wrong in regards to the slope. Never mind landing in only about 18 inches of water.

Yeah, also you can see the accelerate in the air on the way up, lol.

Agreed, plus the fact that it is a carp would explain not getting finned ( or stuck as Jon M indicated). Also, carp have a rough texture that would make it easy to pick up and hold.

see carp like that in small iowa creeks all the time. And I dont think it's as big as 20-30 lbs. Probably 10-12 ish. She' not a very big girl. Still quite a herculean effort though. I think it's totally plausible. Just not sure about the video quality.
