How much do you crave College football at this point in time?

Last night I sat here and watched the replay of the 2009 Shrine Bowl and Josh Lenz(Going to be a stud I believe). I have even been watching the Little 11 network. Last night I watched a game from 2002 which Penn State and Iowa(Banks, Roth, Dallas Clark, Sanders...) were playing in Happy Valley. Hawks led the entire way by 2-3 touchdowns then Penn State came back and tied the game. The hawks won in overtime...crap and I was rooting for Penn State. I think we were the only team to beat the Hawks that year!!! I guess that game should of been their super bowl!


Anyway, kick off can't come soon enough for me!

Waaaaay too excited for football. I too watched that Hawk game as well as the Hawk practice that was on the b10 network. Also, currently watching OSU vs. Miami from 2003.

As a side note, wow how much has Miami fallen - FSU too.

The fall like weather around my part of the world lately has me jonesing for some football. My neighbor and I on Saturday were like, boy, this would be a great day for some football, a bowl of chili, and a beer.

True story about that game...

My family went to that game in '02. I had set the VCR to record it so I could watch it the second I got home, win/lose/draw.
I was living with a Hawk fan at the time who was glued to the TV the entire game. Trust me! I'm sure he was loving that first half. But the second half was a different story.
The whole drive home I'm thinking about popping that tape in and soaking in the moment. I get home that night probably midnight or later, roomate still up watching highlights. I give him a fair amount of **** before asking for the tape.
He then tells me it only recorded the first half because I set the VCR on the wrong speed. BS!!! He then said he lost the first half. Like I'm that stupid. He still says he lost the tape to this day. In 3 hours he lost a tape in the living room of my house?!?!?
I have yet to see that game in it's entirety since September of '02 in the endzone at Kinnick. What a shame.:sad:

Which endzone? I was sitting in the north endzone right behind some angry old Sqwak fan who was smacking our band with his cane when they ran by.
