You all are crazy....

Anyways good game tonight, I saw some more good things out of this game. In particular I liked A-Robs running. and the decision to go for that once it opened up a bit. I also think the defense isn't too bad.

Now, the big thing with all this is it's a first year coach. You can't forget that. Like last week, I had myself talked into the win over EIU. But, that was silly. CPR is doing a good job of building something. That's not going to happen overnight.

So, nice game. I enjoyed it because I could watch it on ESPN 360. I hope to see more.

I'll be honest guys, this is about as negative as I've been, but I believe it's true too. I'm not just saying it to get people riled up. We are horrible. I predicted 4 wins at the beginning of the year, but now I only see 3.

That's my opinion. If it makes some of you cry, then I'm sorry.

Wow, someone thinks very highly of their own random opinion. I don't think many people will be riled up or crying over what you think. Just being honest. :skeptical:

Thanks for the honesty. Way too many kool aid drinkers on here. That was an absolutely awful performance tonight by ISU.

I was hoping that last week was just a fluke, but it wasn't... we are bad. We have about an even chance of beating Army, but outside of maybe Kansas St, I don't see another win right now.

I guess right now I'd take 3 wins after seeing what I saw tonight and be happy that Rhoads outperformed Chizik's year last year. Small victories.

I don't want Tiller and Schwartz getting time. If AA and Arob are our starters I need them to shine as well as the rest of the starters. I'm tired of always waiting till next year. I want our guys to play like men not boys.

Seems that AA is still struggling with accuracy and timing in this offense. No need to be taking snaps away from him. He needs to stay in and hopefully the switch will click on soon.

20 point road win. But ugly second half and another 3 TO.

Defense is playing better. Need the offense to step it up.

There are still possible wins on the schedule if we improve. Army, KSU, CU, and Baylor. We should be in all those games.

Get the win next week and I can't see how anyone could ***** being 3-1 and heading to KC for a big party.

I AM BAFFLED AS TO WHY SOME OF YOU ARE ACTING LIKE WE LOST THE GAME. TAKE IT! WE WON AND IT FEELS GREAT

Agree 100%! It appears some people thought we were going to win the National Championship this year. Maybe it wasn't pretty, but we won. The final score is really all that matters. Only 4 more wins till we're bowling.

From all the empty seats I was guessing we were playing a D-III or a high school team. How can we say this is a quality win? We have a lot of work a head of us yet.

No, there aren't any Kool-Aid drinkers on here tonite. What there are is a bunch of happy Cyclone fans who want to want to celebrate a Cyclone victory because the vast majority of us came to terms a long time ago that they are going to be few and far in between this year. What we want is to be able to celebrate for at least one evening without the 2-4 posters that have to keep reminding us how much we suck and how much you were disappointed with the game with your "woe is me" bull****...

I don't think being happy about a 20 point road victory necessarily qualifies as "drinking Kool Aid." I haven't seen too many posts declaring us the best team in the country, yet. Nobody is going off the deep end. It's a win, and people are happy about it. How dare they?

Guess what - when we haven't won a road game in nearly 4 years, I would have been thrilled with a 34-33 win. We won a freakin' football game. Instead of whining about how they didn't meet your expectations, how 'bout you be grateful that we actually won a game for a change, hmm'kay? :realmad:

Glad for the win but man that was ugly. The offense could do no right in the second half. I know at one point in the 4th quarter the anouncers said ISU had 7 yards for the half.....that is bad no matter how you slice it.

Although it would have been good to score more than 7 in the 2nd half at least we didn't lose like Purdue and Maryland.

Kent State was about the equivalent of a very good high school football team tonight folks... let's not kid ourselves.

Their starting QB and RB didn't play, and most of the rest of the team is VERY young guys that were in high school last year. This was a glorified high school team that ANY team in the Big 12 would have absolutely destroyed by 50 pts tonight.

I'll take a win... it's better than a loss, but I can't say I feel any better tonight than I did last Saturday night.
