Remember some of those canned videos they did when Chizik was around?

This spontaneous 30 second locker room video blows all of those out of the water.

How can one not get charged up about Paul Rhoads and playing football at ISU after watching that!

this entire thread just goes to show how inspiring this man and this football team has been to all of cyclone nation. And to think, we're only 8 games in!! It's only gonna get better. Thank you CPR... Thank you Iowa State.

I love it :)

Definitely made me emotional!! It's been a long time comin'..............

I loved what Coach Rhoads told Jim Knox in the interview before the game when asked, "So both your top players, right now, out... How do you win it here in Nebraska?" Without hesitation, Rhoads responds by saying, "As a team..."

Wow, they are all SO tone deaf :jimlad:

"I am so proud to be your coach!" - CPR

Says everything that needs to be said.

Can't stop watching. Even if we aren't going to be the most talented team you can bet every single game the players are going to play their ***** off for that guy. How could you not?
I keep thinking we're getting ahead of ourselves a little but this was such a big win on so many levels. We NEED to keep this going at A&M next weekend (suddenly looks harder than before).

Wow I could watch that for hours! Paul Rhoads is the man! Imagine what it must feel like to the players having someone who is genuinely proud and happy to coach them, and who don't have to worry about that person bolting!

I have watched it about 30 times now. There are so many awesome things in that video, but right now I am pumped about how the Sleazik castaways are completely embracing Coach Rhoads. Just watching LJ in the last 15 seconds shows how completely on board EVERY PLAYER is with Paul Rhoads.

I have now watched that video 35 times, and I think the sweetest thing of all, is that KICKASS celebration took place in the locker room in Nebraska's stadium!!!!!

Going from Chizik and how he left this team high and dry last year...after watching that, if you're a player on that team, how do you not play your butt off every week for CPR?

Exactly, and that job by CPR and his staff (especially Defensive Genius Wally) is why we are winning games! Emotion and determination is huge in college football!

WOW!!!

That was incredible.

Sometimes I think coaches feign emotion. Definitely not Rhoads. Numerous times I have seen that guy almost lose it. It's as real as it gets, and its the kind that your players (friends, family, co-workers, etc.) really buy into - it creates fierce loyalty. Sometimes I think he's the most emotional guy on the field of 18 - 23 yr olds. He believes, the players seem to believe, and I'm believing.

Coach Rhoads: I am proud that you are the coach of my alma mater.

Well Said!

i almost shed a tear, i am falling in love with our coach.... not the homosexually way either:skeptical:
I put my full faith and trust into CPR, he has complete grasp of this team and these boys know damn well what he expects and wants of them as well

I am on the CPR bandwagon for a long time now and i suggest many others get on it as well.....
